From Our Garden to Yours: Why We Brought Lost Coast Plant Therapy to New Zealand
We are gardeners too. We needed a solution that worked without harming the environment we love.

Tested in Real-World New Zealand Gardens
We aren't just importers; we are avid gardeners too. Before we went through the long process of acquiring regulatory approval at MPI to bring Lost Coast Plant Therapy to New Zealand, we had to know it was good.
We grow our own food and between our families and friends we have a large variety of food crops and ornamentals. This became our proving ground. We had the opportunity to test it extensively on our own plants to ensure our endorsements were based on real-world experience, not just marketing hype.
We treated a wide range of our own crops, including apples, garlic, celery, lettuces, peaches, strawberries, blueberries, Brussels sprouts, citrus trees, beans, carrots, herbs and the ornamentals. The results gave us the confidence to move forward.

The Hidden Cost of Synthetic Sprays
In the past, we have reluctantly used chemical pesticides, but we’ve come to recognize that they leave a long trail behind them.
Once synthetic sprays hit the ground, they don’t just stay put; they move. Runoff carries active ingredients into drains, creeks, and wetlands, where they harm fish, amphibians, and the tiny aquatic life that supports whole ecosystems.
Furthermore, in the soil, those same compounds disrupt microbial life—the natural network that feeds roots, cycles nutrients, and protects plants from disease. True gardening should be about growing with care, confidence, and respect for nature’s design.
Effective, eco-friendly, and safe.

At Lost Coast Plant Therapy, we take pride in offering a solution that uses natural, high-quality ingredients that are effective, eco-friendly, and safe.
When used correctly and consistently, natural pest control methods are every bit as effective as chemical sprays, just without the damage. Our formula contains only seven biodegradable, food-grade, and cosmetic-grade components. It is gentle on plants, people, and the environment while effectively tackling pests and plant issues.

Pollinator Friendly
When changing pest control methods, the biggest worry is often harming the "good guys." We are proud to say that our spray will NOT harm essential pollinators or beneficial insects like BEES AND LADYBUGS.
Keep your garden healthy and your ecosystem thriving.

We used to reluctantly use chemical pesticides, until we realized the long trail they leave behind. 🚫

Peace of Mind Gardening

The best part of switching to a natural alternative is peace of mind. You can spray your vegetables, fruit trees, and flowers without worrying about chemical residue on your food. In fact, food crops sprayed with Lost Coast Plant Therapy can be eaten within an hour of spraying.
You don’t have to worry about kids or pets running around the garden, and crucially, our spray will not harm crucial pollinators or beneficial insects like ladybugs.
Your garden stays healthy, your soil stays alive, and your plants grow stronger over time. During our testing, there were some positive results that were entirely unexpected—but we’ll share more on that soon!
